Second day of finals for me and I am already stumped. I have a genomics exam tomorrow and I am still battling with a swollen eye and now my body itches. I'm beginning to believe I am having an allergic reaction to something, but can't figure out what it is. I'm currently taking claritin (can't take benadryl because of the drowsiness) and using hydrocortisone cream for the itching but I dont think they are effective. Its going to be a tough week, but I know I can pull through. I just need to keep looking at the end of the tunnel.
I made a donation today to support a cause that is dear to my heart, preventing domestic violence. There are a lot of people being victimized by their loved ones, who feel that they have no hope. They suffer in silence for fear of the abuser and the stigma that is associated with being abused. Therefore it is important to support organizations that help these people rebuild their lives and gain back their independence. The Domestic Violence Center is located in howard county and provides domestic violence/sexual assault services. They also cater to all members of the family that are affected or impacted by domestic violence. You will be helping them give those who have been abused a second chance at life.
