It's really weird to be blogging this early in the morning but I know if I didn't do it in between classes I would be hard to do it today. I am so overwhelmed because I have so much going on right now, all I can do is pray to God for the strength. I lost a good friend on the 19th of Nov and till today it seems so unreal. He (Akin Alabi) was such a sweet, kind and lovable person. So much so that he was helping someone the day he tragically got killed. I find it really hard to come to terms with the lost but I'm sure that God has a plan for him and his family. I can only pray for the strength to be there for them and for the right words to say to comfort them. I will be going to their house to join them for a prayer session later on today and then attend his service of songs and funeral tomorrow. As unpleasant as this experience has been for me, it has taught me to live life with no regrets and to make a difference in this world while I can.
Akin, you will be terribly missed. Rest in Peace love xxx
